Second language acquisition
The acquisition of L2 morphosyntax and lexical semantics, in particular verbal argument structure and argument structure alternations; cross-linguistic influence; L2 processing
Translation
Linguistic analysis of translated texts; comparison of translated and non-translated texts; cross-linguistic influence; corpus-based and psycholinguistic methods for the analysis of translated texts and the translation process
Morphosyntax
Verbal argument structure and argument structure alternations; the use of quantitative (corpus-based and experimental) methods in the analysis of morphosyntactic phenomena
Corpus linguistics
Creation and use of language corpora; comparison of corpus data and data from experimental research, in particular the relationship between frequency of occurrence and acceptability judgements
